Multi-end roving The Fiberex CR series multi-end roving combines several single end rovings (of lower tex) using special zero catenary winders. The resultant multi-end roving has a higher tex, but the same(lower) filament diameter as the base input roving. This translates into significantly higher mechanical properties than a single end roving of equivalent tex(and higher filament diameter). The multi-end roving is advantageous for processing by pultrusion and, in some cases, filament winding. |
